Volunteer Program
Become an Angel.
Your journey starts here.
Are you passionate about children and their development? Whether you're a university or TAFE student, or simply a young person who loves working with children and dreams of a career in therapy,EB Academy wants you. No clinical degree required. Just passion, commitment, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

The Angel role
One role. One child. One holistic program.
An Angel does not need a clinical degree. An Angel needs passion, warmth, and commitment. You are trained by our Clinical Director from day one and you deliver a child's complete, holistic monthly program face to face, covering communication, movement, behaviour, social skills, and independence all in one session.
What is an Angel?
An Angel is the person who shows up for a child session after session and implements their individualised program as designed by the Clinical Director. The program is built for that specific child and targets all areas of development in one coordinated approach.
You do not need a degree to be an Angel. You need dedication, warmth, and a genuine love of working with children. You will be fully trained and supervised every step of the way by a PhD-qualified Clinical Psychologist who is invested in your growth as much as the child's.
This role is also known as:
- NDIS Therapy Support Worker
- ABA Therapist
- Cerebral palsy
- Therapy Assistant Level 2
- Early Intervention Therapy Assistant

Step 1
You implement the child's monthly program
Each child has an individualised program designed by our Clinical Director. You implement it face to face every session, every skill, every goal.
Step 2
The program covers everything
Communication, speech, fine motor, sensory, behaviour, social skills, daily living, play all woven into one seamless session. No discipline silos.
Step 3
You learn it all under supervision
You do not need prior expertise in each area. You are trained and supervised weekly by a PhD-qualified clinical psychologist who guides every step.
Step 4
You collect data and drive progress
Every session includes structured data collection. You observe, measure, and report — building your clinical observation skills in a real setting.
Step 5
You work with the whole family
Parents are partners. You support parent training sessions and help families carry program strategies into every moment of their child's day.
The child's monthly program
One program. All areas of a child's development.
The program you implement is not a speech program or an OT program. It is a child's program built around their goals, their strengths, and their family. As an Angel, you learn to apply all of these in one session.
